We actually have The Giving Tree, but ds is obsessed with Where The Sidewalk Ends right now! We also have A Light in the Attic. When ds was born, my grandma gave him all three of those books.
Have you ever been to Shel Silverstein’s site? You can listen to him read his works, which is pretty cool 🙂 http://www.shelsilverstein.com/

Yay. ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ and ‘Where The Sidewalk Ends’.
I love those books. 🙂 I quote Shel Silverstein from time to time – particularly from that book and Lafcadio.
Speaking of, i think you should add ‘The Giving Tree’ to your list. That’s probably his best.
