It opens with a scene where 4 young friends are gathered and committed to live one night with no regrets. Instead, everything falls apart, and they all go their separate ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The past is always with us. The people we&#8217;ve known, the places we&#8217;ve been, the experiences we&#8217;ve had. All of it shapes our present reality and therefore influences the future.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I wasn&#8217;t sure what to expect with this book, but it was compelling from the first page.
