As a kpop fan who was brought into the fandom by my daughter, this book seemed like a really fun one for both of us to read. It’s a sweet story of a girl-next-door who falls in love with a kpop idol who was her childhood friend. The author clearly knows the kpop world well, and many aspects of it are very believable.
I thought the romance in this book was sweet. The main character was likable, although I felt some emotional whiplash throughout the book. To be fair, that might be perfect for the YA audience.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and I’m glad I read it. I think it’s a sweet YA read, especially for kpop fans.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!
