Compulsively Yours – Allison Raskin

Many thanks to Allison Raskin, NetGalley and Harper Collins Publishing for a ARC copy of this book!

Compulsively Yours is a sweet (and mildly spicy) romance that follows Libi and Nate. They meet in a therapy group for adults with OCD and form crushes on one another. When the group facilitator suggests that Nate accompany Libi on an upcoming family vacation, they both learn to navigate their mental illnesses while working to trust someone new.

This book covers parental grief, anxiety and several forms of OCD. The author does a beautiful job of explaining some of the ways that OCD can manifest. Mental health is discussed in a very neutral tone. Some characters are sympathetic, but others don’t understand why their loved ones act the way they do.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It is sweet and an easy read. The time passed quickly, and I’d happily read other books by the author.
